Asami Shimoda, known as “Asapon” by her fans, is a Japanese voice actress and singer affiliated with Arts Vision. She was born in Tottori Prefecture on January 30, 1986, and officially debuted in 2005 as Ami Futami and Mami Futami from THE IDOLM@STER. She started her singing career in 2009 with her debut album Prism and has participated in various groups since then.

Asami is most well known for her role as the Futami twins in THE IDOLM@STER as well as Rin and Len Kagamine from VOCALOID2. Other notable roles include Chika Koizumi from Kyo no Go no Ni, Ameri Kawai from Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity, Huang Linguini from IS (Infinite Stratos), Haruomi Ginbei Sawatari from Oniai, Anya from Dragonar Academy, Saori Nishifukai from Futsu no Joshikosei ga Locodol Yattemita, and Kotomi Tsuda from Seitokai Yakuindomo.

「아사퐁」의 애칭으로 알려진 시모다 아사미는 아트비젼 소속 일본인 성우/가수입니다. 그녀는 돗토리 현에서 1986년 1월 30일에 태어나 2005년 아이돌 마스터 후타미 아미와 후타미 마미 역으로 공식 데뷔했습니다. 그녀는 2009년에 데뷔앨범 Prism으로 가수로서의 경력을 시작하고 이후 다양한 그룹에 참여하고 있습니다.

아사미의 가장 유명한 역은 아이돌 마스터의 후타미 자매이며, 그만큼 알려진 것이 VOCALOID2의 카가미네 린・렌입니다. 다른 유명한 역으로는 「오늘의 5학년 2반」의 코이즈미 치카,「타유타마-Kiss on my Deity-」의 카와리 아메이, IS(인피니트・스트라토스)의 황 링인, 「오빠지만 사랑만 있으면 상관없잖아」의 사와타미 긴베에 하루오미, 「성각의 용기사」의 아냐, 「평범한 여고생이 지역 아이돌을 해 보았다」의 니시후카리 사오리, 「학생회 임원들」의 츠다 코토미가 있습니다.

Anime North는 1997년 처음 개최된 이후 매년 캐나다에서 열리는 애니메이션, 만화, 음악, 게임 등의 일본 문화를 즐기는 행사입니다.

2013년에는 나카무라 에리코 씨가, 2014년에는 하라 유미 씨가 참가했다고 하네요. 

행사기간은 2015년 5월 22일 ~ 24일 까지이며 장소는 캐나다 토론토 의회 센터, 국제 플라자 호텔이라고 합니다.
